    Private equity means owned and operated privately by an individual or group of individuals.

    Municipal means it’s owned and operated by a city or town.

    Municipal Clubs have more to offer than golf such as tennis, swimming, and sometimes spa/fittness facilities. They will usually have caddies and it is much more expensive to golf there. Public golf courses usually don’t have caddies and the price is much smaller.
