You should learn to play golf. That way you can spend more time together. I bought my wife a set of clubs and she loves to play and to watch me play.

You may strengthen your relationship by showing you care about his passion.

He is probably getting tired of the ‘family thing’ if all he does is sit at the house with you on the weekends and watch tv, then he is getting bored. My husband and I are going through the same thing. Except he likes to play volleyball. He says he is tired of sitting at the house and doing nothing. Just tell him that you want to go swimming or go on a picnic or go to the park, or lake or something. Tell him that you know he is getting bored at the house. but you would like to spend time with “Our family” and if he doesn’t want to sit around the house, tell him that you want to do stuff together.

when you start doing this because he did that, things will only get worse

tell him how you feel, what you want and negotiate a middle ground

be happy he has something healthy to do, why don’t you golf with him? and the kids too

Does he golf every weekend ? yes ?, that is not good, needs to spend time with you & family, every other weekend ? yes ? that is not too bad, better than him going to Sammy’s go-go & watching women on a pole !! Buy a pontoon boat Talk to him about it, tell him you would like more time wiith him, buy yourself a set of clubs & go with him every time !!

If you are asking here, then yes!

Tell him point blank that you miss the time you need to spend together on the weekends because he would rather play golf than to consider doing just that.

Tell him you understand the hobby part of it but that you see the need for the marriage to be a part of his hobby also.

Tell him that you are tired of spending “mad money” on needless things just because you are bored and shop because he chooses to golf all the time.

You have a mouth and a say in this we don’t.
