If the government wants to pay for it, it is no different than paying for foot, rugby, soccer, tennis and all of the other sport that the Australian government and taxpayers contribute to — Take a look at yourself Australia you are sport cray and would pay any amount of money for one of your own, but bitch about paying for one of the US greats.
