If you’re an avid backyard golfer or a golf course superintendent, you must certainly spend quite a bit of time thinking about golf course equipment.  To superintendents and serious golfers, the golf course equipment can be just as important as the golf clubs themselves.
You come to rely upon golf course equipment to a serious degree and spend time thinking about which types of equipment can improve your course.  The truth is that golf course equipment improves a golf course on a number of levels.  Not only does quality equipment make a course more functional, but it makes it more pleasing to the eye as well.
A quality golf course supply company will be your one-stop-shop for each and every type of equipment you need to ensure that your course is top of the line.  If you have a great supply company backing you up, you’ll have no need to spend time shopping around because everything you need can be found in one location.  When deciding upon a golf store supply company to call your own, make sure that it is one that has everything you need.
Make sure that the golf store supply company you select carries a full line of golf flags, sticks and cups.  There are a lot of different types of flags out there and you want to make sure that your course only has the best.  Also look for a company with a large selection of tee and course signage.  Put simply, nicer signs make a course appear much nicer than simple wooden signs.  Look for a company with a full line of bronze course signage.
In addition to having supplies for the course itself, you want a company that carries a full line of driving range supplies.  As they say, the game of golf is learned on the driving range so it’s important that your range is at least as nice as your course.

Are you frustrated because you know you have too much slice or can’t sink the ball in the hole once it lands on the green? You’ve pored over hundreds of golf articles you can get your hands on — books, magazines and online. Dismiss the long winded analyses; instead begin breaking things down in smaller, simpler concepts. Look around the Internet for simple tips for golf, rather than golf how-to guides.

It doesn’t really matter what particular aspect of golf causes you the most trouble. The crucial thing is that you look for tips for golf that focus specifically on whatever that trouble is. If, for example, you are having issues with your stance, go after tips for golf stance improvement. Look for tips for golf grips if you’re experiencing trouble with your grip. You have to have confidence in those things you are doing right, and find confidence to do right in those things you are doing incorrectly. Don’t fill your head with scores of info; concentrate instead on learning tips for golf specific to just one aspect of the game. You’ll move on only when you’ve perfected that particular aspect.

You may already know which areas of golf you’re struggling with. You know what you’re comfortable doing and what you can’t do with any consistency. You know if the ball doesn’t feel right when you hit it. You know how it feels when you hit it just right. You need to learn how to replicate consistently those actions that lead to a golf swing and follow through that feels right.

A lot of people are shocked out how much tougher putting is than driving. Maybe it’s because when we watch golf, it looks hard to make a long, straight drive. On the contrary, though, most people are able to pick  that aspect of golf quickly. This is the reason most golfers, neophytes in particular, should find some good tips for golf putting. But if you’re the exception — you find it easy to putt — then what you need may be tips for driving the ball without a hook or slice. Regardless of what aspect of the game you need assistance on, simple, specific tips for golf are what you need to improve.

There are those who are proficient at reading directions and then executing those instructions afterwards. For the most of us, however, we learn better and quickly with examples. The most effective tips for golf, especially for beginners, are those that come with photographs, step-by-step animations and similar visual aids. An even more effective way to learn golf are tips for golf in video with the instructions given out verbally. Tips for golf on video are more like studying in the real world. Thus, for some people it’s much easier to learn by watching a video than poring over books or websites with photographs. Tips for golf videos are best if your goal is to master the game of golf fast.

Slicing is one of the most common and frustrating problems people run into when hitting the golf ball. However, before I go into some tips on how to cure golf slice, you should have a good understanding as to what a golf slice is. A golf slice is simply when the ball starts out to the left of the target and dramatically curves in the air to the right of the target. Most of the time slicing the ball will get you in a lot of trouble on the course, for example you might end up walking to another fairway to retrieve your ball or in the woods or water on the right side of the fairway. Because how to cure a golf slice is a common question many golfers encounter when golfing, golf professionals have produced instruction on how to cure this problem.

Causes Of A Golf Slice

Now we can get into the causes of slicing the ball, since you understand what a slice is. First, in order for a slice to happen the ball has to be spinning in a clockwise direction. The clockwise spin of the ball forces the ball to suddenly curve way right. This spin is caused directly from the point of impact it has with the club face. So what kind of impact causes the ball to spin clockwise? If the ball slice that means the during impact your club face is coming through open putting spin on the ball.

Different Causes of Having An Open Club Face:

· Golf grip is too weak (take a look at proper golf grip)
· Your stance is not square
· You are lining up too much right of the target
· You happen to automatically swing your club with an open club face.

How to Cure Golf Slice

Knowing that the main cause of hitting a golf slice is having an open club face during impact, the simple answer would be to come through with a square club face during impact with the golf ball. To have your club face come through square during impact here are some guidelines you should follow:

· Begin by making your golf grip stronger! the grip has everything to do with how the clubface looks when it impacts the ball and the flight at which the ball takes The club face will be open during impact if your hands are to far to the left on the club, known as a weak golf grip.

To fix your weak grip and cure golf slice you will need to make your golf grip stronger, bye slightly turning both hands to the right on the club, your right thumb should point towards your right shoulder. Also when you set up your golf stance you should be able to see your left first two knuckles. The stronger grip will allow you to bring the clubface through more square correcting your slice.

· Try squaring up your golf stance! There are many golfers out there who will actually purposely line up left of the target since they consistently hit the ball right hoping that will fix the problem. This is not true and it will most likely make the slice even worse!

In order to fix this problem you need to make sure that you are not lining up to the left of the target. To make sure you are not aiming to far left, set your golf club down on the ground up against your feet, the club should point to the direction you are aiming. If you notice the club pointing left of the target fix your stance till you are square with the target. Also you need to make sure that when you line up your hips, shoulders and knees are also lined up square and parallel with the target along with your feet.

Before focusing on the subject of increasing confidence with ones golf swing I like you all to think concerning this concept; you cannot merely “Think” yourself a superb golf swing. Or else, we would all solely think concerning pots of gold manifesting in our front rooms and we’d all be loaded. Nevertheless, the pots of gold do not turn up merely by thinking about them, equally, our golf swing does not convert into that of Tiger Woods merely by idea alone. Something needs to be done to get self-confident about that golf swing. So, this is the first concept that I want you to think about previous to I talk regarding building a powerful level of confidence in your golf swing.

When a person is developing a new self-confident golf swing, at this point needs to be an element of action that is taken to change and update the golf swing appropriately and effectively. Certain differentthings needs to be done sufficient times for the unconscious mind to be taught it.

The early success philosophers and gurus like Stephen Covey and Napoleon Hill recognised that in order for a new behaviour to take place unconsciously and instinctively, it needs to be completed for 21 successive days. So then the new behaviour is learned totally by the unconscious mind and your conviction in your golf swing swing can start to come about on auto-pilot. So, any confidence with your golf swing needs certain conscious effort and recurring application for your new self-confident golf swing to happen unconsciously.

Now, when you have a new way of doing things, the other, old, unwanted way of doing things doesn’t simply wither away immediately. It remains in the bank. If you were confined to a wheelchair, the muscles in your legs would begin to experience atrophy, the same way that when specific sections of your brain are not used, they experience atrophy; this is why it is demanding for us to learn languages when we are much older and school kids find it a bit easier; that portion of our brain has not been used for a extended time.

The old golf swing needs significant time to experience atrophy. Envision that here and now as you read this, your unconscious mind has carved out a distinct way of you swinging your golf club and this way is well defined by repitition from the past. Each time you step up to execute your golf swing, your unconscious mind carries on down that well trodden pathway that you have forever gone down; your golf swing is the same. It is the only way that it knows and is the easiest route to take.

When you create an alternative, confident new golf swing, you are carving out a new path that needs to be trodden down and paved well several times, so that your unconscious knows it is here and knows that it can seize this route in specific conditions, events and situations.

So then with repetitively taking the new passageway, the old pathway can begin to overgrow and have its own atrophy. Nevertheless, we all understand how easy it is to unearth an old path and drift back to our old golf swing; if we allow ourselves to go back along that way, it can begin to get carved out again.

These ideas can produce the basis of any programme of change. Nevertheless we are focussing on your golf swing at this point today and how to develop enhanced faith with your golf swing.

When I first became involved with the world of hypnosis, NLP and personal improvement, I read a fantastic book by a man called Dr Maxwell Maltz entitled “Psycho-cybernetics” that formed the basis of many modern ideas as to how we understand personalities. Dr Maltz was a plastic surgeon and he found that if he altered the way people looked, often it altered their persona too. When people looked different, they also felt different. Frequently people that had lacked confidence, were converted into more confident, outgoing people who lived life with more passion.

What mystified Dr Maltz is that some of the clients did not appear to get happier. a few, whose exterior had changed a lot, didn’t seem to alter their feelings. They still felt wanting in self-assurance.

So what Dr Maltz concluded was that cosmetic surgical treatment would not help the client if they had a poor image of themselves. His solution was to design a visualisation practice that helped them to change their inner self-image. He got superb results. So when the clients altered the way they felt around themselves, they became happier and more content and their conviction grew. You know that when you feel great regarding your golf swing, your golf swing is better and you are more adept with your golf swing. The procedure is uncomplicated, here it is;

Firstly, imagine your golf swing as you would ideally like your golf swing to be. Think about how you would look if you were as content and self-confident as you wanted to be with your golf swing. How do you walk? What do you wear? What expressions are on your face? How do you move? Take all the time needed for this, to truly get an idea of how you are when you are confident with your golf swing.

Secondly, when you know what you will look like, make a film clip within your mind, in your imagination of yourself being happy, confident and deeply self-assured with your golf swing.

Thirdly, imagine yourself stepping into that film, imagine seeing through those eyes, hearing through those ears, and feel those confident feelings, think to yourself; how do I know the confident feelings? Where in my body are they? Enjoy feeling and being precisely how you would like to be.

Finally for this exercise, envision that when you get up tomorrow you wake up as that ideal you, feeling this good and imagine your golf swing going as you like it to and be self-confident about your golf swing.

Remember what I said at the beginning, you must use this practice over and over in order to get the most from it and really make yourself a self-confident golf swing. Look out for part two of this article of getting self-confident with your golf swing.

Do you understand the 4 essential factors that affect your golf swing? Knowing what they are and interpeting them will be able to aid you correct your swing to start hitting straight and true. As a result improving your golf swing.

In the game of golf, no two persons ever have the identical golf swing. Each person has their own personal body with its individual strengths, flexiblity and range of motion. The way one individual swings a golf club may not work for another person, even if they are near in body types. Every golfer has to acquire the playing technique that fits them to help them produce the results that they would like. Players that distinguish what is going to happen to the ball when they hit it, and what factors affect that instant of impact will effectively apply their body to produce the reliable powerful golf swing that they wish for to hit longer drives.

One item that will assist all golfers create direct and constructive improvements on their game is an understanding of the factors that influence the golf ball at the second of impact by the golf club. Knowing what these factors are and how they influence the ball can enable you to understand what happens at the moment of impact and interpret the golf balls flight. When you distinguish what occurs and why, you can then create little adjustments to your swing and then catch a glimpse of the effects on the next shot. The flight of the golf ball can tell you whether you were correct in your individual judgment and you made a good adjustment to a superior golf swing. If you made a adjustment that made the shot worse than before, all you must have to do is undo that modification to your swing.

The moment of impact (ideally the golf club sweet spot hitting the ball) is a mixture of four factors that will finally decide what direction and how far the ball can travel. The golf ball can respond to these factors in spite of of how they happen. The first imperative reason that affects your golf swing is the angle of the clubface at the moment of impacting the ball. The position of the clubface at the moment of impact is the most important issue influencing the initial direction and the spin of the ball. The clubface must point in the direction of the target you’ve chosen farther down the course. If the clubface is straight and perpendicular and at correctat a 90 degree angle to the golf ball at the instant of impact, it can travel directly down the course with no spin.

The split second thing at the instant of impact is the angle of the clubhead with relation to the golf ball. There is the horizontal approach of impact and perpendicular angle of impact, both of which are combined to resolve the initial direction of the ball and the altitude of the golf balls flight pathway. The horizontal angle of impact determines the initial direction that the ball will travel. The vertical angle of impact can establish how high the ball will fly. Too low or too high and you lose distance in your shot.

Thirdly, the clubface must hit the ball on the sweet spot. The sweet spot is the area on the face of the golf club that can transmit the power of your golf swing to the golf ball. Transferring this power successfully will take full advantage of its potential and carry the ball far and straight down the course (as long as the angle of the clubface and the club head at the instant of impact are decent).

Last of all, the fourth factor that is essential at the second of impact is the the club head. The speed of your golf swing will decide how much power you transport to the golf ball and eventually how far it will go when you hit it on the sweet spot. The speed or power of the golf swing is not reliant on strength only. Other factors such as body flexibility and range of movement affect how a golfer employs those muscles in creating a fluid smooth swing.

The golf swing is not just picking up a golf club and trying to blow away the ball down the course. It is a combination of many factors that if you can understand, you can influence by making modifications to your swing. Knowing what causes the golf ball to travel as it does will enable you to improve your golf swing and gain distance and accuracy on your shots. However, knowing the cause that produces an effect, and affecting that cause to produce the desired effect are two different things, both of which will be learned over time and with practice. We’ll even show you how to cure your golf slice.
