First off
1)I understand the businesses that will go bankrupt if the golfers were only restricted to certain golf clubs and golfballs (like everybody can only use a “regular” golf ball, nothing fancy and “aerodynamic” [sorry if I misspelled it] and that also goes to the same as the golf clubs, only one driver, chipper, putter, etc.). Many different business were started to provide different types of golf clubs and golf balls.
2) I also understand that this will take away alot of the “consumers” or regular people that play. Many people who enjoy the sport would be discouraged and not bother to play, making many golf ranges lose business because of the lack of consumers.

but I’m really curious if this sort of “experiment” would show a big amount of evidence that the golf clubs/golf balls play a HUGE part of the golfers games. I feel that people who go into golfing professionally should be able to play golf without fancy equipment.

Please do not insult this to get 2 points.
ah…I didn’t know that the PGA people have guidelines about equipment…(My grandfather and uncle golf but I don’t know too much about PGA guidelines and stuff.) I’ve been reading their golfing magazines to get better insight also. Thanks for answering!!

I want to do girls golf my sophomore year in highschool. First I wasn’t going to do golf because my parents said that it was pricey & we have to drive to the golf course everyday but i really like golf. The golf coach is also my PE teacher & he says that im getting good & I should join next year since i didnt get to join this year. My parents are OK with it. Should I buy these golf clubs now, because I dont think they will still have them next year. I think theyre perfect for me because Im kinda small & I dont want a full set. Should I buy them now or wait until I actually get on the team? eh . .

When she sees the golf pro, she explains how bad she is and he tells her to go ahead and hit the ball. She does. The ball goes about 50 yards into the brush slicing to the right. The golf pro says to the woman, “I can see that you have a lot of problems. Your stance is bad, your head is all over the place, and the worst thing is that grip.”

When she asks what can be done to fix the situation, he suggests, “Grab the club gently, as if you were grabbing your husband’s “club”. When the feeling is right, go ahead and swing.” She does just that and the ball goes off the tee perfectly straight for about 275 yards.

The golf pro says to the woman, “That is unbelievable, I didn’t think you would do that well. But now on to your next problem…
How are we going to get that golf club out of your mouth?”

I am going to play golf for my school this fall. I have no idea how to play. But I’m going to learn. But before all that, I need equiptment. I found some clubs on clearance for 119.99 original 345.99. They’re ladies right hand, 18 piece set, Produced by Cougar, the X-Cat series. Is this a good deal?? Are they crappy clubs? Or are they sufficient for a beginner? Or should i spend a little more to get better quality?? And if so, what would you recomend?

I like to play golf and have been since high school. (I’m currently 24) My boyfriend doesn’t care for it, and I would like him to, but I can deal with it. He said sometime he might try to learn and go with me, but doesn’t seem to be really happy about it. SO.. I have other friends ( male friends) that play. My boyfriend (of 2 years) gets really jealous and hates that I go golfing with male friends. So.. I haven’t gone golfing with them in awhile because it will just start up a fight. But I would really like to have someone to golf with!!!
What am I to do?? Not many women golf, men mostly do. I tried to get my girlfriends to go but their not very interested.

Cow Tail
A foursome was on the last hole and when the last golfer drove off the tee he hooked into a cow pasture. He advised his friends to play through and he would meet them at the clubhouse. They followed the plan and waited for their friend.

After a considerable time he appeared disheveled, bloody, and badly beaten up. They all wanted to know what happened.

He explained that he went over to the cow pasture but could not find his ball. He noticed a cow wringing her tail in obvious pain. He went over and lifted her tail and saw a golf ball solidly embedded. It was a yellow ball so he knew it was not his.

A woman comes out of the bushes apparently searching for her lost golf ball. The helpful male golfer lifted the cow’s tail and asked, “Does this look like yours?”

That was the last thing he could remember
